Lowe currently provides the City with on-call engineering as well as project and construction management. In addition to providing additional Public Works Department staffing and support in the areas of traffic engineering, traffic signal timing, and plan review, Lowe has overseen the City’s annual paving contract, median and streetscape improvements to Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, along with its Rail Trail boardwalk and pavilion reconstruction. Lowe supports utility encroachment permit review and monitoring, roadway and stormwater design for minor repairs, and assistance in setting Public Works policies. Other work includes stormwater inventory, pavement maintenance, road safety audits, and traffic studies.
