Stormwater Field Technician

Lowe Engineers is seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, comfort with fieldwork, and an interest in environmental protection and infrastructure maintenance. As part of Lowe Engineers’ stormwater team, a Stormwater Field Technician contributes directly to the sustainability and functionality of stormwater systems, protecting the environment and supporting the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits to inspect stormwater infrastructure, identify issues, and ensure systems are functioning as designed.

Utilize GPS technology and GIS systems to map stormwater infrastructure locations and updates.

Operation of HD Pole Camera

Water Quality Sampling

Perform field assessments of large-diameter stormwater pipes and other infrastructure

What You Bring to Lowe Engineers:
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working with or in municipal Public Works environments

Construction inspection or construction experience is a plus, but not required

Prior pipe infrastructure experience is a plus, but not required
