The two baseball fields were designed with Dunwoody Senior Baseball and Peachtree Charter Middle School to provide a variety of sports opportunities for our baseball league and the middle school physical education classes.
Design, program and construction management services for the Parks and Recreation Department. The facility was developed for joint use by the adjacent Peachtree Middle School physical education program and a senior baseball program. Construction and inspections took place in coordination with scheduled gym classes, morning and afternoon school bus operations moving through the site, and relocation of fiber optic utilities. The project included construction of two new artificial sports turf baseball and multi-use recreational fields, a 3,268 ft2 fieldhouse, sidewalks, parking areas, a playground, access drives, site lighting, and fencing. Overall project area is 7.5 acres. This project further included rebuilding a 0.2-mile fire lane and new adjacent parking lots for 30 vehicles, with new site lighting installed.
An inspection of the street/parking lighting installation project. This project included the installation of 300 feet of 6-inch fire main and 300 feet of domestic service, 700 linear feet of sanitary sewer tie-in for the new fieldhouse, detention pond, and conventional reinforced concrete dam with outfall structure, along with 4,210 linear feet of RCP stormwater pipe with approximately 25 storm structures.
