vermack road pipe replacement
PROJECT LOCATION
Dunwoody, GA
PROJECT DATE
2024-On Going
The Vermack Road pipe replacement is part of broader efforts by the city of Dunwoody to improve local infrastructure and mitigate environmental risks.
This project involves replacing the existing 48-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) system with a larger 60-inch RCP. The primary goal is to increase the volume of runoff that can be managed at this location, providing better flood control and enhanced drainage capacity for the area. The junction box showcased reflects the scale and ambition of this upgrade. The new, larger pipe system will more efficiently handle stormwater, reducing the risk of flooding and improving overall water management. This project encompasses approximately 185 feet of upgraded piping along Vermack Road. By investing in this enhancement, we aim to ensure the community’s infrastructure is robust and capable of meeting future demands. Stay tuned for more updates as we progress with this critical improvement.
